Growing up here, we saw the same thing over and over: visitors arriving with a wishlist and no idea where to start — while some of the best guides, farms and family-run operators in the country stayed hidden a few kilometers off the tourist trail.
There's rafting, volcanoes, cloud forests, wildlife, coffee, chocolate, beaches on two oceans, and a rhythm of life that's hard to describe until you feel it. We wanted a place that captures all of that honestly — and helps you experience it the way we would with our own friends and family.
