Plan My Costa Rica is a booking-facilitation platform. We do not own, operate, staff, insure, or supervise any tour, vehicle, boat, aircraft, lodging, or rental listed on the Site. When you book, your contract is directly with the independent operator that provides the service.

Tour operators listed on the Site represent to us that they are registered with the Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (ICT) where required and that they carry the civil-liability and adventure-tourism insurance required by Costa Rican regulation. We review new operators before listing them, but we do not independently audit or continuously verify their compliance, equipment, staffing, or safety practices.

Adventure activities in Costa Rica — including but not limited to whitewater rafting, canyoneering, waterfall descents, zip-lining, ATV tours, horseback riding, surfing, snorkeling, diving, hiking, and volcano tours — carry inherent risks. Weather, wildlife, and terrain are unpredictable. By booking, you accept those risks on your own behalf and on behalf of every traveler in your party.

Plan My Costa Rica is not liable for:

• Personal injury, illness, or death occurring during a tour or activity;
• Loss, theft, or damage to personal property;
• Delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes caused by the operator, weather, or force majeure;
• The condition, maintenance, or safety of vehicles, equipment, or premises operated by a Supplier;
• Inaccurate information supplied to us by an operator and displayed in good faith on the Site;
• Disputes between you and a Supplier over refunds, no-shows, or service quality — although we will help mediate as a courtesy.

We strongly recommend that every traveler purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance that covers adventure activities, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation. Costa Rica’s public health system may not cover foreign visitors, and adventure-activity coverage is often excluded from standard policies unless specifically added.

Some activities have minimum age, weight, health, and fitness requirements listed on the tour page. You are responsible for disclosing pregnancy, cardiac conditions, recent surgery, or any other condition that could affect your safety. When in doubt, consult your physician before booking.

We aim to keep listings, photography, itineraries, and pricing accurate but we do not warrant that they are error-free. Operators can change their schedules, inclusions, and prices; the version in force at the time of your booking applies.

Third-party services linked from the Site — for example car-rental partners such as Vamos Rent-A-Car — are provided by independent companies. Your contract for those services is with them, not with Plan My Costa Rica.
