About Nosara
Nosara pairs a protected wildlife refuge with one of Costa Rica's most beloved beaches, Playa Guiones. It's a wellness-first town — yoga at dawn, surf mid-morning, howler monkeys in the trees — and part of the Nicoya Blue Zone.
When to go
December through April for the driest days. Green season mornings are often clear with afternoon showers.
Getting there
About 4.5 hours from San José, or 2 to 2.5 hours from Liberia Airport on partly unpaved roads.
