Overview
Saddle up at Ganadera La Nacha, the Solís family's cattle and dairy ranch in Venado. Ride through pastures and across the river to the ranch's private waterfalls for a swim, then walk the farm to meet the cows, pigs and horses and see everyday Costa Rican ranch life. Your host, Don Julio, speaks Spanish only; Hazel handles all coordination for you. All levels of riders are welcome; no experience needed.

Good to know before you book
- Dress for the trail: long pants and closed-toe shoes are required for riding. Pack a swimsuit and towel if you'd like to swim in the private waterfall pools.
- Authentic working ranch: see a real Costa Rican beef, dairy, pig and horse farm in action, with open pastures and river crossings. A family-run ranch, not a manicured resort tour.
- Arrival: plan to arrive at the ranch about 15 minutes before your selected start time.
Children
Minimum age 8. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 8–10 ride with a parent and pay the adult rate.
